Although we have to be very clear that this is not going to solve every violent crime in this country. It’s not going to prevent every mass shooting. It’s not going to keep every gun out of the hands of a criminal. Awesome posts as always! I love the clean layout and the rich content makes it even more appealing! Is there a podcast for BBC News Review? I’d love to subscribe to them.
Thanks you so much for paying a visit and for your kind words! I know they come from the heart! 🙂
They don’t have a podcast on News Repost, I’m afraid! They post the content on the site though – http://www.bbc.co.uk/learningenglish/english/features/news-report (as I’m sure you are aware of!)
Do you think it is easy for students to spot that the words underlined with a dotted line are there to give them the meaning?
Oh, definitely. It’s very intuitive to drag the mouse over words in blue (and underlined) when we’re reading on the web, since this kind of formatting is often used to redirect people to external links. So yeah, I guess most of us are used to it and will be at least curious to do it!
I’m glad to hear that!! 😉
