Let’s talk about Idioms! Nope, it isn’t a synonym to language! 😉
Idiom is an expression whose meaning is not predictable from the usual meanings of the words that make up the expressions. Examples as: kick the bucket (= to die) or a piece of cake (= a very easy task).

Red tape: It’s a very common red tape situation to get a visa nowadays.
Be saved by the bell: Yesterday I was going to the bus stop when my bus just arrived, I felt saved by the bell.
When pigs fly: I’ll drink soda again when pigs fly.
